Clay arts experiences for everyone
Our mission
Sharing access to all things clay through collaborative education in a community studio.
Expanding Creative Possibilities: Our New Space
Our partnership with Girls Inc brings clay, creativity, and possibility directly into classrooms—introducing students to ceramics for the very first time. But the benefits go far beyond finished pieces. They’re learning patience, problem-solving, pride in their ideas, and the joy of belonging in a creative space.
This is the heart of our mission: removing barriers to the arts and planting seeds of confidence and creativity throughout Chattanooga.
Now, we’re ready to take the next step. Our new space will allow us to reach even more young artists and expand access to the transformative power of clay. Learn more about our new space and how you can help make it a reality.

“Scenic City Clay Arts is my happy place. I like the strong sense of community in the studio and the way people help one another out. There are very experienced potters as well as beginning potters, and everyone is given encouragement in their work.”
